Quilling Arts

Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.
The paper is wound  around  a  quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns similar to ironwork.

I always wished to make greetings in a special way so the person will never forget who gave them this gift.
Papers are something which reminds me of school, childhood, creativity (because we used to draw, make things with paper) Once during ma usual surfing around google about some typography i found a new Creative art form named Quilling art. It was made by Paper strips.one day when i was looking for a chart paper in a Paper mart, i found alot thick coloured_textured papers called, Recycled sheets. they are of 300gsm or above. I brought a white one and i made a white on white quilling art on A4 size and i give it ma dearest friend. you can see one Quilling art "For my Soul" above.
and i Uploaded that on ma facebook page and got a good response and i thought of making more and i as my first work i did a black on red Quilling greeting cover for one of my friend, named Taniya, to gift her boyfriend's Sister's birthday :) and after that one for my another friend Neena's sister's Wedding anniversary as a present. It was Quilling on a photo print like a lamination
you can see 3 of these Quilling works above. many more were there...but couldn't take a chance for taking a snap of it. We need a lot patients and dedication for making One Quilling art.
